What to Expect

Concordia Lutheran Church welcomes all those who are visiting.  We have three separate worship services to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Most people dress casually for service, but it is not uncommon to see patrons in jeans or other attire.

Traditional Worship - This service follows the litergy in the Lutheran Hymnal.  Hymns are sung with the organ and refreshments and fellowship follow the service in the Narthex prior to Sunday School.

Blended Worship - Music in the blended worship service ranges from hymns to contemporary worship songs.  Music is led by George Shum.  The praise band typically includes acoustic guitar, piano, drums and vocals.  Blended worship music is played the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month and contemporary worship music is played the 1srt and 3rd Sunday of the month.

Chinese Ministry - Worship is led by Pastor James Tsang.  This service is for Chinese-speaking Christians or those who would like to learn about the Christian faith.  All are welcome.

Communion - It is our belief that those who partake of communion have a similar belief in the Triune God.  Therefore, communion is for members of the Lutheran Missouri Synod only.  If you would like to participate in communion and are not a member of the Lutheran Missouri Synod, please speak with the Pastor prior to service.

Child Care - Child care is offered during services on Sunday mornings,  There are also bathrooms with changing tables available in the Narthex.

Connecting with Others - If you are visiting, please fill out a registration card and hand it in after the offering.  Members are encouraged to reach out to visitors and make them feel welcome to enhance God's kingdom.
